After receiving constant inqueries over the years asking who runs Chanton.com and Penpal Connection, we have decided to post our pics here, along with a brief history. We are Tony and Chandler, a lifelong Gay couple. (In the photo to the left, Chandler is on the left, with Tony on the right.) CHANTON, pronounced shan-TAWN, is simply a combination of our first names - CHANdler and TONy.
Chandler, originally from Kansas City, Missouri, works for a large Silicon Valley law firm, while Tony, born and raised right here in the San Francisco Bay Area, is semi-retired and handles the day-to-day running of Chanton.com and Penpal Connection, which we established in 1995.
After being together for 26+ years, we were finally "married" in San Francisco on February 12, 2004. We were the 40th couple to be married on that first day.

The photo to the left was taken in 1979, two years after we met. We first met on November 7, 1977 in San Francisco and have been together ever since. Today, we lead a fairly quiet life on the San Francisco peninsula with our 2 Cairn Terriers, Dusty and Daffy. We eventually plan on retiring to either Palm Springs, California or Tucson, Arizona, as we both love the desert heat.
